SANDS Lothiands came to Napier in order for the Graphic Design students to work on their project of designing baby bereavement cards.
I am really honoured to have been one of the chosen one for this card project and I would be really proud if they go up for sale on their website. It sure was an interesting and overwhelming project.

Doug the Rubbish dog

15 September 2016 Doug's Instagram Page Emotions: Surprised, Motivated, Nervous

This project was created by the Creative Conscience Award and required to make a dog or a cat that would create a critical response to some major problems that these animals can face. As a group of 5, our concept was to focus on mainly abandonment and how people tend to throw away dogs or cats in the street as if they were households rubbish... It is the reason why we made this dog out of rubbish. The stomach wire was a way to show how empty and hungry stray animals can be. A difficult situation but an important project to show awareness.

We won the award of the Best groomed pet. If you wish to see more pictures of this project, please visit Doug's the Rubbish Dog's Instagram page.

FROZEN PUNCH - MASH-UP TRAILER

6 February 2016 Across the Toy Story Universe Emotions: Satisfied, Delighted, Relaxed

I love using video programs such as Adobre Premiere CS6. In my spare time, I always try to make some videos. Mash-up trailers have become a thing for me, and I always have lots of fun trying to combine 2 complete different universes in one. In this video, I made a mash-up with the film Frozen and the trailer sound of Sucker Punch. I am pretty surprised how well they go together! I hope you will like it too. If you wish to commission this sort of video to me, please feel free to contact me!

If you want some more, you can also watch Across the Toy Story Universe, which is a mash-up of Toy Story and Across the Universe.

Captain James Hook (1991)

22 November 2015 Wikipedia Page Emotions: Thrilled, Nostalgic, Accomplished

I am so thrilled to finally have this beautiful prop!! It was created by Sarednab who started the project in 2013. He worked with a Pakistani factory in order to complete this difficult prop. The hook was actually cast from an original hook and made out of brass, then, it was nickel plated. It has an opening mechanism which allows you to remove or replace the top part. There's a handlebar inside of it so it can also be hold. This prop is absolutely amazing and is one of my favourite piece ever! Hook was also part of my childhood which is why I love the movie up until now. I thought it was a great adaptation of J.M. Barrie's children book.

For more information, you can visit the movie's Wikipedia page.
